Random Bowl rant
10 years in and I still hate the BCS....
LSU and Georgia proved that despite the annoyance that is SEC fan on radio the conference backs up its position as the power conference in college football.
Once again Oklahoma and Ohio State have shown to be very good regular season teams but almost embarrassing in bowls.
Congrats to Mark Mangino capping off a worthy Coach of the Year season by leading the Jayhawks over the Hokies.
And finally for gloating purposes, congratulations to the alma mater Tulsa for the complete domination of Bowling Green in the GMAC bowl. The 63-7 final was the most dominant score in a bowl game in several decades. Also Tulsa successfully, if I heard correctly, became the first team, with a 5,000 yard passer (Paul Smith), a 1,000 yard rusher (Tarrion Adams), and 3 1,000 yard receivers (Brennan Marion, Trae Johnson, and Charles Clay) in a season. Thanks for a season of entertaining football.
