A Discussion Topic for the Musically Shameless

Okay, I literally have nothing to talk about so I will fall back on a staple topic. So this morning's question is What relatively unknown upcoming music releases for this year are you looking forward to and why?

All biases clearly in play I have a few...

Upside -- Jim Beam and the American Dream

Green River Ordinance -- Way Back Home

Deep Ella -- Title TBD

Go Van Gogh (featuring the members of Greenwheel) -- Ruby and the Starlight Ballroom

*** Addendum to the list ***
The Exies -- A Modern Way of Living With the Truth
Chris Cornell -- Carry On
The Nightwatchman (Tom Morello) -- One Man Revolution

As always there's more, but what's the fun in my listing things as opposed to hearing from those of you with actual musical taste?

It depends on how you define "relatively unknown". Taking it to its most extreme, the only two on my list are Upside and Deep Ella.

However, if "relatively unknown" includes bands most people have not heard of even though they are extremely popular and respected in more independent circles, my list would also include: Arcade Fire, New Pornographers, Wilco, Eisley, the National, the Rosebuds, and the Wrens. Many of those do not yet have official release dates, so the "this year" requirement is somewhat precarious.

Good list Mike. For the record Eisley and Wilco have "official" release dates now with all standard release caveats in play. Both are due in May.
